Before putting the boat for sale, we check the boat and suggest works if necessary It is important to present a clean, tidy and empty boat so as to make easier the visit. We realise an inventory approved by the owner wich will be then annexed to the bill of sale. This sale inventory is visible on our website so that the possible buyer can read it before visiting the boat. We advise the seller to gather all the documents concerning the boat : maintenance invoices, the survey reports of maintenance... We fix the sale price in agreement with the owner and according to a market price We publish the advert in our website as well as on : Your advert will also be monthly published in the specialised magazines "Voiles et Voiliers" and "Bateaux". We organise the visits anytime from tuesday to saturday. We write the provisional sales agreement with or without suspensive clauses. Once the buyer has signed this agreeement, he pays a down payment. The bill of sale is both signed by the seller and the buyer within a period wich can vary according to the carrying out of the suspensive clauses (Boat survey, oil engine analysis...) We are in charge of all administrative formalities for the transfer of ownership, first to the Customs and then to the Maritim Affairs. The transfer ownership formalities must be done within a month after the bill of sale.
Gildas (the foreman of Arzal Nautique) will accompany the new owner for a sailing test during half a day). Our commission varies between 6 and 7%, inclusive VAT, according to the value of the boat. Your boat is stocked freely on our yard all the time it is put up for sale. We advise the buyer to realize an expert's report further to our own checking. We remind you that Arzal Nautique intervene as a broker and is in no way responsible for the state of the boat. |
